Silk Laundry
Founder and Creative Director Katie Kolodinski uses the form of fashion to explore textiles, conscious living and luxury through her eponymous label Silk Laundry. Founded in 2015, Canadian-born Kolodinski migrated to Australia studying, learning and living cross-culturally between Montreal, Barcelona and our sandy Australian shores. This global sensibility is echoed in Silk Laundry’s design ethos; adding timeless beautiful pieces to an evolving wardrobe. Working in large part with OEKO-TEX certified silk, Silk Laundry’s practice seeks to provide positive environmental impact, most recently in Project 166 - a carbon sequestration and land restoration initiative in Queensland, Australia.
