Project 25 from Permanent Vacation draws inspiration from the textures and colours of Iceland, including it's evolving landscape and shifting glaciers. The Axis Wrap Skirt is an expression of this inspiration, made proudly in Melbourne in 100% Japanese Sandwash Silk in a deeply vibrant blue. Fastened with a small internal button and wrap tie that can be styled to be visibly wrapped around the waist. Beautiful with the Permanent Vacation Segment Henley, dressed down with jersey pieces or up with a lace top.

Sizing

Sizing is on the generous side and flexible due to waist tie.
Our model Joey typically wears a size 8-10 on the bottom and is wearing size small here.

Shipping

Complimentary standard domestic shipping is included for orders totalling $300 or more.

For orders below $300, a flat-rate fee of $10 will apply for domestic shipping.

Express postage (typically 1-2 days in metropolitan areas) is an option for domestic orders, charged at a fixed rate of $16.

Manufactured in Melbourne in small runs, Permanent Vacation takes a thoughtful and considered approach to process and fabric, ensuring minimal waste at each step. "Each step of our Production process - research and design, pattern-making, sampling, cutting and sewing, knitting, embroidery, screen-printing, dispatching - takes place either at our studio or within a 15km radius, neutralising our logistical emissions. All makers that produce Permanent Vacation pieces are paid a living wage." Working in distinct Projects allows Permanent Vacation to reject the traditional fashion calendar.  For Project 25, feeling and inspiration is drawn from how the global climate crisis can be seen and felt in our changing natural environment and melting glaciers.
